Complete beginners are welcome to join this workshop! From the fundamentals of modern calligraphy to letter formation, composition, and the basic techniques of creating original artwork, you will learn through practical, hands-on sessions.

I. What Is Calligraphy, and Why Should You Learn It?

Calligraphy is the art of presenting letters in an aesthetically pleasing way. It is more than just beautiful handwriting; it is a creative medium for expressing ideas and artistic vision through letters.

Calligraphy is used in canvas art, interior decoration, logo design, branding, and many other creative fields. If you want to learn a creative skill, calligraphy can be an excellent choice.

II. Can Complete Beginners Learn Calligraphy?

Absolutely! You do not need beautiful handwriting or previous drawing experience to start learning calligraphy.

All you need is an interest in learning, proper guidance, and regular practice. Our workshop provides hands-on learning opportunities for complete beginners.

III. Can You Learn Calligraphy Without Knowing Arabic?

Having basic Arabic reading skills and an understanding of Arabic letter forms and writing arrangements can make learning Arabic calligraphy much easier.

However, our workshop also includes Bengali calligraphy painting alongside Arabic calligraphy. Even if you do not know Arabic, you can still participate in learning Bengali calligraphy painting, In Sha Allah.

IV. What Materials Do You Need for Calligraphy?

A few basic materials are required to participate in our calligraphy workshop, including:

Two bamboo calligraphy pens
Glossy paper
Calligraphy ink
Two canvases
Six acrylic colors
Color brushes
